For a college, its infrastructure plays an important role, as it provides those basic facilities and amenities which are necessary for any student for their academic as well as personal growth. East West College of Pharmacy provides all the important facilities which include Laboratories, Library, Seminar Hall and Auditorium, Hostel, Transport Facility, etc. All the facilities are equipped with the latest amenities and modern technologies have been used in the classrooms, labs and seminar hall.
Along with these Separate hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary amenities are provided for a comfortable stay of the students. Transport facility is also provided by the college for the convenience of students.
East West College of Pharmacy (EWCP) was established under the aegis of the Subramanya Education Society and in the year 1992. The EWCP is situated at Bangalore city in India’s Karnataka state. The College’s Founder-Chairman is the Late Shri C.M. Nagaraj who was a well-known philanthropist. Under his guidance, the EWCP managed to garner repute in the field of Pharmacy education - not only in India, but across the globe - for striving towards achieving excellence in academics. In fact, the College has adopted his 3D rule - Discipline, Dedication, and Determination – for mentoring the College students and helping them to excel in the chosen Pharmacy-related specializations.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the College. Also, the College has the approval of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The College bears affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences that is based at Bangalore and the Board of Examining Authority that is recognized by the Karnataka Government, too. Moreover, the EWCP has partnered and signed the MOU with Apollo Specialty Hospitals of Bangalore’s Jayanagar and Seshadripuram for offering Pharm.D. Courses.
The College’s vision is to serve the nation-wide requirements of the Pharmacy sector, which is part of the Healthcare industry, by creating an efficient, specialized pool of Pharmacists. Moreover, the College works towards rendering value-added Pharmacy-related learning and tending to the needs of the medical patients.
