Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing is an unit of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust (SDUET) and it began its educational journey in the year 1998. The college makes an effort to become an institution of excellence in the nursing field and meet the global healthcare needs of the community through quality education and clinical training.
Approved by the Government of Kerala, the college has also been recognised by the Karnataka Nursing Council and INC, New Delhi. It is affiliated with RGUHS, Bangalore, and accredited by NAAC. The college started with a 4-year B.Sc Nursing program. Later in 2006, it introduced programs namely Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, and a Diploma in GNM.

Admission Process

Students seeking admission through management seats can obtain an application form from the college, and fill it. They must enclose all the afore-mentioned documents along with the form and submit it to the admission office of the college.
The placement cell of the college ensures that the students secure employment after the completion of their course. The team encourages students to participate in activities like Free OET Training and Free Exam in collaboration with HEE. It provides students with practical knowledge, and learn skills which are beyond their textbooks.

The college is situated in Tamaka, a locality in the Kolar district of Karnataka. The campus is accessible through public transport. The campus of the college is located at Sri Devaraj Urs University campus. It is a 3-storey building with spacious and ventilated seminar hall, hostel with mess services, advanced digital library, 5 well-equipped laboratories to conduct practical sessions, and ICT enabled to support online learning.
