Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Sri Raghavendra College of Pharmacy offers a full-time 4-year B.Pharm program, affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with only 40 seats in total. It is a responsible course for producing professional Pharmacists. The course includes 2 months of industrial training and covers subjects related to Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmacology & Toxicology. Final year candidates are allowed to visit several Pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to complete their industrial training and apply all the skills learned then prepare a report for the satisfaction of Head of the Institution.
To be admitted, one must pass two years of P.U.C Examination of Karnataka or any other equivalent examination with an aggregate of 40% marks in any stream with either PCM or PCB combination. Candidates scoring less than 50% marks in 10+2 but who have completed B.Sc degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects with a mixture of any two of the following subjects mainly Physics or Mathematics, Botany or Zoology but securing not less than 50% (B.Sc.) are eligible for admission too.
