Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce Pune Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is green, well maintained and gives a free environment. There are multiple academic facilities provided for students to ensure trouble-free education. The academic blocks are quite spacious, with lots of natural light, making the learning environment pleasant. Classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors and sound systems to make lessons more interactive. There are also specialized labs for commerce and IT students giving them practical exposure to complement their studies. The library is a quiet space, filled with books and digital resources to help students with research and learning. For academic events college has seminar halls and auditorium. The computer lab compliments my course (computer science).

My overall campus life is filled with joy and new experiences. The college crowd is pretty cool and I have made some great friends here. There is a renowned club of MMCC known as No Fear Fight which has seniors and ex-students of the college. There are some events conducted by this social group and few events organised by college. NFF recently organised a Dandiya event at Gangadham for MMCC students. My personal experience about the campus life is quite great and worth it. Talking about infrastructure it doesn't has an extra-ordinary campus. It is small and decent. It does have basic amenities like a well equipped library, a sports room, an auditorium, canteen, etc. MMCC doesn't have a sports ground where students can up-skill their skills in various sports. Classes are well maintained and has whiteboards installed with projectors.

Campus life in MMCC is cool enough. College organizes various competitions throughout its academic year and also conducts an entire week of fests for students to have fun and socialize. Apart from funfairs where students get an opportunity to setup their business in college for a day and get a personal experience about how the industry works, it also organizes business plan competitions where students can pitch their business ideas to various investors and get funding to start their own small venture.Read Full Review

The college has a quota for physically disabled students and the college has lifts and wheel chairs available for them. It was a nice gesture and the management had also had staffs to help out such students. The previous point may not have been important but I felt it has to be mentioned. The library was small but was armed with books of different arrays. The only problem was the library hours as it was operational only till 4.30. Many classes also took at the newly made IT lab which had 100pcs and all latest. The IT labs also had blackboards and the IT classes were mostly conducted in this lab. MMCC college canteen had a wide menu to choose from. From South Indian to Pav Bhaji, it had all. The college is clean and has a very high standard of maintain cleanliness as there are as many as 4 dust-bins in this small scale campus. For garden waste there’s a separate dust bin and the same way it was for waste food and garden waste as well.

The college was not so harsh on studies but that doesn’t mean the college didn’t had events or the other activities. Felicitation was an everyday month thing as all the students who excelled in any areas were called on stage and felicitated for the same. This was a huge boost for the students as receiving an award in front of 1000 students was something that everyone wish for. The college’s go green program is one such program through which the college made sure that if a student is caught throwing plastic bags inside the campus, he/she will be penalized heavily. That was a great initiative to be a part of I have followed that since then. The students were mostly Marathi or from the same province but I was welcomed and made friends with all my batch mates. Not just the students but the teachers were equally friendly and I enjoyed every second that I spent at the college.Read Full Review
