Diploma in GNM is three years and six months course that prepares nurses who can perform efficiently in the health team and are capable of handling the competencies in hospitals as well as other organizations. The minimum age for applying in this course is 17 years and maximum age should not exceed 35 years.
P.C.B.Sc Nursing is a two-year course that gives knowledge about the basic requirements of the Nursing profession. Candidates looking for admission need to have a diploma in general nursing and Midwifery and be a registered nurse. Candidate must have qualified the pre-university examinations in science/arts/commerce.
Knowledge of English is mandatory. Medical fitness is the key requirement and must have a good professional and personal record. Maximum age limit is 45 years and eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore is required.
Master in Nursing is a postgraduate program that offers advanced knowledge in the nursing domain. The specializations offered by the institute are Psychiatric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynecology Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing.
A candidate who wishes to take admission must have passed (basic) B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing (Post basic) of recognized University. Candidates must have one-year experience of working in Nursing Educational institute or hospital after completing Standard B.Sc Nursing. Registration as a nurse or midwife is also necessary.
