The full time 4 year of Bachelor’s program, certified by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. This imparts all the basic knowledge about the field of nursing and health care services. After completion of the course, students can do further studies by pursuing a Masters of Sciences in nursing which will surely improve their knowledge. Students can also work as a certified nurse after finishing the course with required marks. Clearance of entrance and the medical tests required to take admission.
This course provides in-depth knowledge and is responsible for providing intellectual and responsible nurses. Subjects like Anatomy, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Pathology, Genetics, Microbiology, and Community Health Nursing. Students must acquire more than the required percentage of marks to qualify for the degree.
It is one of the focused areas of nursing teaching. The objective is to prepare nurses who are independent and competitive to work in the professional field. The college provides a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course for 3 years followed by an internship of 6 months. The course teaches students about the general health care given in schools, hospitals, clinics, colleges, and the military. The main objective of the course is to provide nurses by making them skilled, trained and contribute to healthcare services as an integral part.
For admissions, candidates must have 45% marks in 10+2 having an age limit of 17 to 35 years. A medical test takes place to check the fitness of the candidates. The subjects involved in this course are the Fundamentals of Nursing, First Aid, Sociology, and Health Education and Communication Skills. After completing the course, candidates can choose a career in various fields such as Healthcare Nurse, School Nurse, or Emergency ward nurse.
