Amity University Ranchi

Since its inception in 2016, Amity University has been establishing exceptional benchmarks in providing education in Ranchi. It has been established as a State Private University with the approval of the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956. It is accredited by the BCI and AIU. It is also a member of CSI, NHRD, ASSOCHAM, Confederation of Indian Industry, FICCI, and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Application Process

Candidates who qualify the Eligibility Criteria of the desired courses are eligible to fill up the Application Form from the University. All the candidates must provide their valid Email ID in the form for future communications about admission. They can check all the updates regarding admissions on the Portal. They just have to enter their Form Number and Password. The Selection Process includes a Personal Interview round. Selected candidates will get an Admission Letter on the Micro site that will contain important information regarding semester fees, Reporting Time and date, Scholarships, and Documents required at the time of joining.

The University also offers Direct Admission in UG programs for candidates who have qualified 12^th with 80% or above marks. The admissions of these candidates will be based on the Application Form and they do not have to appear for any Selection Process. In BA LL.B and BBA LL.B, direct admission will be provided based on the CLAT scores and qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria. Direct Admission in PG programs will be offered only to the Amity Alumni.

* Calculated Percentage for Direct Admission does not include subjects like Fine Arts / Physical Education / Performing Arts / Any Vocational or Non–Written subjects. The Eligibility Criteria for Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI candidates are the same as Indian candidates.

* Under the Martyr’s Scholarship Scheme, a 100% scholarship is given to the children of deceased soldiers. The candidates must appear in the prescribed Selection process and meet minimum eligibility criteria for admission.
