The year 1992 marks the establishment of the Krupanidhi College of Nursing (KCN) Bangalore, Karnataka. KCN is a private, co-educational Nursing college and counted among Karnataka’s best Nursing colleges. At KCN, the aspirants can avail a host of nursing courses, with a solid background of academic excellence.
The KCN has the ISO 9001-2008 certification and affiliation of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). More so, the KSN has the accreditation of the Karnataka Nursing Council, Indian Nursing Council (INC), and Karnataka Government.
The KCN is grouped under the Krupanidhi Group of Institutions (KGI). The KGI’s sponsoring body is the Krupanidhi Educational Trust that was set up for developing competent professionals. The KGI started operations during the year 1985 by a group of educationists. The Group operates from Bangalore’s Koramangala locality. In fact, the Group was the first to set up a Physiotherapy college in the city. Thus, the KCN boasts of having a rich legacy in innovative education.
The College conforms to the modern Gurukul system, using the latest technological developments. Additionally, the pupils receive training on how to tackle real-world problems that helps to enhance their career prospects.
In line with the needs of the healthcare sector where the caretakers are to be well-tuned to the patients’ suffering, the College imparts training accordingly. Hence, the College students are taught to be sensitive and empathic towards the patients, for aiding their timely recovery. In the process, the pupils are groomed into competent Nursing professionals.
At KCN, in combination with classroom sessions, the College imparts clinical training to the students. In turn, they can partake in clinical conferences and bedside presentations. More so, they get training via interactive sessions such as case presentations, lectures, and group discussions.
At Krupanidhi, the different departments boast of dedicated libraries that are equipped with laboratories and internet connectivity, if needed. In addition to other educational resources, the Krupanidhi College of Nursing library has a digital section.
