Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College is a private dental education institute established in the year 1986. Initially, the institute was affiliated with University of Madras and later on it got affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. The Vinayaka Mission Dental College is recognised by the Dental Council of India, and accredited by NAAC. The college offers a UG and a PG program namely BDS and MDS respectively. Also, students can pursue diploma programs in Dental Mechanic and Dental Hygienist at the institute.

• For students seeking BDS admission at the institute, and belonging to the SC / ST / OBC category, the minimum qualifying marks will be 40%.
• For PwD candidates, the minimum required marks will be 45% for general and 40% for SC / ST / OBC categories.

Admission Process

The admission process for Vinayaka Mission Dental College includes online counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who want to pursue BDS or MDS at this institute, must follow steps stated below to successfully register for the counselling:
