VMACON has a Placement Committee which provides job assistance to the students. Counseling plays a very integral part as this provides guidance to the students. Soft skill development programmes are organised by the committee to increase the communication, interpersonal, motivational, and resume writing skills of the students. Educational visits, guest lectures, webinars, workshops, etc are arranged by the placement committee for the students to make them ready for campus interviews. The cell is responsible to maintain its relationship within the industry. Internships are offered to the students in the parent hospitals of the college which are “Vinayaka Missions Kirupanaanda Variyar Medical College Hospital” and “Vinayaka Institute of Medical Sciences” for providing them practical clinical experience.

VMACON Salem has excellent infrastructure and facilities in its building. 3+ lecture halls are available for UG students which can accommodate around 100 students and around 2 lecture halls are provided to PG students with a seating capacity of more than 30 students. A seminar hall and multipurpose hall of the college is used for conducting several meetings, placement drives, conferences, cultural programs, etc. Details about the VMACON infrastructure and facilities are mentioned below:

• Library: It is situated on the 1^st floor of the college building with sufficient space and equipped with modern amenities. Separate reading room is provided to the students with a proper and comfortable seating facility. The college library is equipped with a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, dissertations, national & international journals, newspapers, CD’s, question bank, and many other reading & learning resource materials.
• Laboratories: To facilitate practical experiments in the respective subjects of the students, there are various laboratories in the college premises such as medical surgical nursing lab, community health nursing lab, maternal & child health nursing lab, psychiatric nursing lab, nutrition lab, and computer lab. Each and every lab in the college has required equipments.
• Hostel: VMACON offers accommodation facilities for both boys and girls separately. Hostel rooms are spacious and enabled with the necessary facilities. A mess is available for providing quality and hygienic meals to the students at nominal rates.
• Sports: The College organises various sports meets, events, & tournaments and encourages students to participate in various activities for maintaining their physical fitness. Separate common rooms are provided to boys and girls in the college campus.
• Additional Facilities: Transportation Facilities, Healthcare Services, Clubs, NSS Unit, and many other facilities.
