The Placement Cell at Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture helps students in career planning by conducting guidance programmes. The cell maintains strong linkage within the industry to facilitate placements of the students in reputed organisations.

Various career development activities are arranged to prepare students for campus placements such as:

Summer Internships are facilitated in organisations like ABT Industries, Raaki Eco Farm, etc.

KIA Erode is developed on an area of 131 acres of land which comprises of all the required amenities that are used to provide excellent educational experience to students. Spacious and ventilated classrooms with necessary teaching aids and comfortable seating arrangements are available. Buses are available to provide transportation facilities to the students. State of art facilities of the institute are explained below:

• Library: There is a library which is well equipped with a number of learning resources like 2000+ books titles, national & international journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. Wi-Fi facility is available which provides high internet connectivity to access online resources like e-books & journals. Moreover, a fully furnished and ventilated reading area is available for the students. Book borrowing facility, reprographic facility, etc are provided.
• Laboratories: Institute has more than 15 departmental laboratories which are well resourced with essential equipments and tools.
• Hostel: KIA has separate hostels for both male and female students which are constructed on an area of 65000 square feet. Boy’s hostel has around 80 rooms and girl’s hostel has approx 70 rooms and these are allotted on sharing basis. All rooms are fully furnished and are equipped with amenities like cots, cupboards, tables, lockers, etc. A mess is available in each hostel along with a dining hall which can accommodate around 150 students. Indoor and outdoor games facilities are available for activities like chess, carom, throwball, volleyball, etc and a gymnasium is also provided to the students. 24/7 CCTV surveillance, uninterrupted power supply, internet service, a reading room, TV room, medical facility, guest room, washing yard, drying yard, and many other facilities are available.
• Sports: The institute comprises of adequate sports infrastructure & facilities for games like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, ball badminton, throwball, hockey, kabaddi, kho-kho, table tennis, chess, carom, etc. Moreover, there is a 200 meters track and 2 well equipped gymnasiums for the students. Annual Sports Day and tournaments are arranged by the institute.
