SRM University Ramapuram Campus has numerous activities that exist on the campus to occupy students in many interests. With cultural events, athletics, visual arts, and entrepreneurship, it's a vibrant atmosphere for living and studying that encourages students to explore interests outside of the classroom. Auditorium: The campus has an auditorium with air conditioning and room for 750 people. The arena has speakers with built-in amplifiers and is connected to an open auditorium with a 3000 seat capacity. Three seminar halls, each with a capacity for 200 people, are also housed on the premises.

Hostels: Most new students are moving into hostels for the first time, housing options on the campus were created with this in mind. Hostels promote a student-friendly environment and offer the ideal setting for learning, developing, and making new friends. It features two male and three female exclusive hostels that are well separated to ensure privacy. Each hostel's floors and rooms are assigned to make sure there is proper administration and they are very well equipped with amenities including kitchens and dining areas. Solar-powered heaters provide continuous hot water and there are exclusive study halls/rooms available in each hostel. Men's and women's department stores and internet cafes are also available. Other amenities such as food courts, canteens, banks and ATMs, the internet, a supermarket, and leisure activities halls and areas for yoga and exercise are also there.

Library: In 2004, the main library at this campus was built which includes a fantastic selection of literature on the humanities, engineering, and science. It was built to assist academic staff, researchers, and learners in their education and to ensure quality in research work and higher learning. The PG & Architecture Library is located on the ground floor of the PG block, while the completely air-conditioned Central Library is located on the ground floor of the Main Block in the area of 8000 square feet. The library features a number of sections, including some that can hold 180 users at once. It has a reference section, periodical section, CDs, Technical, Internet, and Audio Visual sections.

MUN: The department of English at the campus hosts a three-day Model United Nations Conference each year known as MUN. It is a conference that includes extracurricular activities and students do the role play of United Nations delegates and committees. Students take on the roles of representatives from various nations and try to resolve problems that arise in the real world by writing resolutions, giving talks, negotiating with friends, or settling disputes.

Medical Facilities: The general, clinical, and dental problems of the students, faculty are handled at a multi-specialty facility on campus. The institution boasts a staff of skilled and knowledgeable doctors/specialists and offers free medical care. The amenities that are always provided at the hospital are Trauma Care, ICU Care, Labs, UCG, X-ray facilities, and ambulance services. It also has a pharmacy located within the campus where surgical and general items and medicines are available.

Clubs: There are many clubs like eco club is a platform that encourages the students to engage in significant environmental actions like increasing the amount of green space around colleges. Tech Club offers chances for development, personal growth, and education in engineering, technology, innovation, and design. The oldest club having members from all areas of engineering and technology is this Tech Club. Journal Club offers a platform for teachers and students to engage and discuss newly released publications in their areas of interest.

Canteen: The campus also offers high-quality food and beverages, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options in the canteen. Five canteens and two ice cream parlours are available on the campus to meet the needs of students. As well as serving a range of ice creams and milkshakes, ice cream parlours are a popular hangout for students here.

Others: It has transportation facilities for students and staff and for that matter many AC buses are running in and around Chennai. Union Bank ATM facility, colour photocopy facility, DTP section with scanner, laser printer computer facilities are also available on the campus. The supermarket offers packaged food, supplies, and other necessities. The Physical Education Department was established so that students can actively participate in all major competitions, such as cricket, BB, volleyball, and indoor activities like shuttlecock, TT, and chess.
