Al-Falah University [AFU], Faridabad established in 1997 is a Private University. AFU Faridabad is approved by NCTE, AICTE and UGC, and is accredited by NAAC-A. Admission in Al-Falah University is offered in Engineering, Management and Humanities at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
Al-Falah University abbreviated as AFU Faridabad was established as Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology in the year 1997 with 3 UG courses. Following the act passed in the Haryana Legislative Assembly on 2nd May 2014, the Private University got its UGC approval in the follow up year i.e. 2015 under section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC act 1956. The university is one of the first universities to introduce Choice Based Credit System under its semester examination. It is approved by AICTE and NCTE and is accredited by NAAC with “A” grade.
Vision: The Vision of the university is to become a medium for disbursing quality education of international standards and prop up scientific and artistic personality among the new generation to make them innovative scholars for the betterment of the world.
Mission: The University was set up with a view to serve mankind by striving hard to foster scholastic approach and a spirit of scientific enquiry. It directs its efforts to create artistic skill of technology to achieve education at par with moral values and work ethics and to mould its students to become responsible citizens.

Admissions to most of the courses in the university are subject to the MCQ entrance test. Desired candidates must fill up the application form obtained either from the Admission Office of AFU or from the Administrative head office by making the payment as prescribed by the authorities. The application must be duly filled and along with the demanded documents attached, it should be submitted within the due date to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Performance of the eligible students in the exam is the key criteria to shortlist the candidates for admission to the university. Multiple scholarships like Merit Cum Means Scholarships, Special Scholarship Program of Government of India, and various other scholarships from different organisations are offered to the deserving candidates to encourage them for studies. The Training and Placement Department in any institute or university has a vital role in shaping the future of its students. At Al-Falah University the Training and Placement Cell was initially a part of the HR Department which later became an individual entity. The main function of the T&P department is to analyse the training needs of various organisations and accordingly conduct the training based program. It upgrades the skills of the students to make them potent and fit for the industry world and act as an agent between the institution and the corporate world. To accomplish the task the department conducts various activities like providing training, career guidance, industrial visits, conducting pool campus, etc.
The constant efforts of the Cell has made the list of the recruiting companies of the university a bit lengthy, including the names of some of the best and well known companies currently. The domestic and overseas recruiters of the university include Snapdeal, Barclays Bank, Imperial Auto, IBM, Qatar Petroleum, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, and more. Moreover Al-Falah students are trained and employed in various public and private sector organisations like BSNL, VeeGee Industries, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Escorts, ACE, Nokia-Ericsson and more.
The campus area of the university is spread over a vast area of 70 acres of land surrounded with lush green environment in Dhauj which is located at the outskirts of Faridabad.
