CMR University Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Bangalore

The CMR University (CRMU), Bangalore offers separate accommodation facilities to both male and female students. The hostels at the University are also known as ‘Student Quarters’ or ‘Student Accommodations’. The hostels are provided on a first-come first-serve basis and are managed by a ‘Campus House’.

The CMR University has around 6 on-campus hostels and also has off-campus residential facilities. The rooms at CMR University hostel are fully furnished and spacious with all the modern amenities. In addition, the rooms are offered in single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancies and provide a safe and secure environment to all the residents.

The students are required to pay the hostel fee to avail the accommodation facilities at the University’s hostels. The CMR University hostel fee ranges from Rs. 1,41,200/- to Rs. 1,79,400/- per year based on the occupancy opted by the students.

The University has made several rules & regulations to maintain discipline and decorum in the hostel premises which are as follows:

• The inmates are not allowed to go outside the hostel premises from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM without the prior approval of the warden.
• All the students are expected to maintain silence especially during the quiet hours i.e., from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Interchanging of the rooms by the students is not allowed without the prior approval of the respective authorities.
• The students are advised to switch off the fan, lights, etc. before stepping out of their rooms.
• All the residents are prohibited to dry their clothes on the railing, parapet wall in the corridor, and inside the room.
• Use of any electrical appliances are not allowed inside rooms that can cause serious harm.
• The residents are not permitted to carry and cook food inside their rooms. Moreover, students are advised to keep their allotted rooms neat and clean.
• It is compulsory for all the residents to present at the meeting organised by the respective authorities.
• Inside the hostel, students are not allowed to indulge in the act of ragging. Violation of this rule may lead to strict punishment against the student.

The hostels at the CMR University Campus have state-of-the-art infrastructure and provide separate accommodation facilities to both male and female students. There are around 6 on-campus hostels, out of which 4 are for girls’ and the remaining 2 are for boys’.
