The GCP Goa, has an active placement cell that offers training and placement solutions to the students. Pharmaceutical industries seeking skilled students to employ in different sectors like manufacturing, health insurance, retail pharmacy come to the college for campus recruitment drives. The placement cell contacts the various companies and manages all the logistics related to organising campus drives. This includes arranging tests, pre-placement soft skill workshops and programs, and conducting interviews. Some of the companies recruiting from GCP Goa include Sanofi Aventis, Lupin, Cipla, Wyeth, Pfizer, Indoco Remedies, Biontech etc.

The Goa College of Pharmacy has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities to ensure students get the right environment for academic development. From hostel facilities for all students to cultural and sports activities, the following are some of the facilities students get to experience after gaining admission at the college:

• Hostels: The GCP Goa has separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls near the campus. The boys hostel has twenty seven rooms which are triple-sharing. The girls hostel also has triple-sharing rooms. Facilities like round-the-clock drinking water, electricity, basic furnishing, guest rooms, central dining rooms, hostel mess, reading and recreational rooms are available for both boys and girls.
• Library: The library is equipped with latest textbooks, journals, magazines as well as e-resources which are easily accessible for all the students. All kinds of relevant materials are made available such that students can borrow them as and when required within the library hours. There are spacious reading rooms to provide a quaint ambience for studying.
• Labs: All kinds of essential laboratories for pharmaceutical studies are available at the college. The laboratories have the latest instruments essential for different practical and technical skills. There are nineteen laboratories in the college such as Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology.
• Animal house: The animal house at the college is designed to help with understanding drug testing. Mice and rats are maintained at the animal house and are compliant with the CPCSEA guidelines. These are useful for various undergraduate experiments and postgraduate projects and research.
• Medicinal plant garden:The college maintains a demonstrative medicinal plant garden which helps the students learn about their characteristics, application and how to use them for medical purposes.
• Central instrumentation facilities:The college has a sophisticated instrumentation facility that can cater to the various pharmaceutical research needs. The facility has state of the art instruments and is centrally air-conditioned.
• Sports and cultural activities: The college has a spacious playground which is elemental to various workshops, sports meets, cultural events which are organised in the college throughout the year. The college has provision for various indoor and outdoor games like athletics, cricket, football and so on.
