Interested Candidates have to appear for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) to get admission in B.Tech programs. This is a university-level entrance exam that is conducted every year by the institute. It is mandatory for all candidates to appear in VITEEE. The institute does not accept JEE (Mains) / SAT score for admission in B.Tech programs.

The Application Process of Vellore Institute of Technology B.Tech is discussed below:

Step 1: Register for VITEEE

• Register for VITEEE by filling up the form available on https://viteee.vit.ac.in/
• OTP will be generated on the registered Mobile Number for verification
• Once verified, a password will be sent on the registered Email ID
• Login as a Registered User to fill up the Online Application Form
• Pay the Application Fee after filling up the form
• Upload Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format
• Download the Application Form for future reference

Step 2: Entrance Exam

After completing the registration process for VITEEE, candidates have to generate a Link to book slots for the entrance exam. Candidates have to appear for Computer-Based Test VITEEE on scheduled time, date, and exam centre. The institute will announce VITEEE Results.

Step 3: Final Admission

Selected candidates have to take part in Online Counselling as per their ranks secured in VITEEE. They can select a particular program, campus, and category of fees. The institute will allot seats on the basis of rank secured, preference, and availability during counselling sessions. A Provisional Admission Letter will be offered to the selected candidates. They have to appear for document verification.

*Candidates seeking admission in Integrated Engineering Programs do not have to appear in VITEEE. They will get admission through the Merit-Based process. The merit will be based on the score obtained in 12^th with PCM. They can apply for these programs from the official website of the institute.
