IIM Sambalpur Faculty Profile

Faculties are academically renowned professors. The in-house faculty holds professors not only with PhDs from other eminent IIMs but also highly experienced industry professionals such that the students receive a holistic pedagogy and are industry-ready as and when the placement season approaches. The institute made a disruptive advancement in teaching methodology by introducing AI in the classrooms using Breakout Learning software. The technology-driven approach to teaching empowers the faculty as well to keep learning along with the students. The student-to-teacher ratio is approximately 1/2:80, as there are 4 sections of 80 each. Faculty is really good and visiting faculties are also good. They are interactive, helpful and are always there to support you. The academic committee is for students help. They can connect you and your faculty. The lectures help are for 90 minutes but there are some faculty members who are just satisfactory, not that good. You can use YouTube for reference videos and better understanding of the topic. Even the seniors use it for better understanding and revision during exams. The seniors also explain you and clarify your doubt during exams.Read Full Review

Our faculties are very well educated. All are Ph.D holders. They teach very well but I would like to say that the economics and finance faculty is just average and they can improve their teaching skills. The marketing facilities are great. I am in my second term so I don't know about all the professors but till now we have received good teachers for business communication and marketing.Read Full Review
