Indian Institute of Management [IIM Sirmaur] established in 2015 is a Autonomous University, currently having 57th position in NIRF Ranking 2024. IIM Sirmaur is approved by UGC and MoE (MHRD). IIM Sirmaur was founded in the year 2015 to provide education in Management discipline and to promote interdisciplinary studies. The institute was set-up and funded by the Central Government. It is approved by UGC with an Autonomous status.

The Placement Team at the institute trains and motivates its students and facilitates suitable career opportunities for them. It plays a crucial role in providing counselling and guidance to its students. The Placement Team drives all its efforts towards raising awareness about the available job opportunities, market patterns, and required employability skills, to build a base for students so that they become leaders in their respective genres.

Initially IIM Sirmaur was operating from a temporary campus at Rampur Ghat Road, Paonta Sahib Sirmaur. However, now it has developed its permanent campus at Dhaula Kuan, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. The permanent campus is on Ambala-Dehradun National Highway No. 72 and is 97 kms away from Dehradun airport. IIM Sirmaur permanent campus is fully residential and ICT enabled with world-class infrastructure facilities.
