Royal Global University [RGU], Guwahati established in 2013 is a Private University. RGU Guwahati is approved by AICTE, COA, UGC, PCI, BCI, INC, AIU, ANMHVC and NCTE. Royal Global University was incepted more than a decade back in 2009. COA and AICTE approve the university. The able hands of A.K. Pansari head the university. Royal Global University Guwahati has become the first choice not just for the people of Assam but for Eastern India as a whole. The university has built an infrastructure which is unmatched among any of the universities of the east. The lush green with high-tech towers that are centrally air-conditioned gives studies and the faculties an ambience to study and teach.
In almost thirteen years of their excellency, the university has built a student body that has helped fellow students to file any complaints if they have. Ragging never existed in this part of India, yet the college has a dedicated cell that looks after any such incidents. If reported and found guilty, the students involved are discarded outright as nothing can justify bullying or ragging is what the university feels. RGU Guwahati has 24 colleges inside the campus that offers over 100 UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Certification and doctorate courses. No other university in Assam has that many departments, and that's why Royal Global University Guwahati is one of the most sought after universities to study. The infrastructure part has its own importance as the 27 acres boasts some of the most beautiful gardens and some of the most advanced buildings.
Royal Global University admissions depend on the department the students choose. Like Royal School of Engineering & Technology, students must provide their JEE Main Scores or R-JEE scores. R-JEE is Royal university's joint entrance exam. Likewise, there are entrances for management, pharmacy, medical, and mass media schools. In some schools, even entrances are not enough as the entrance are flowed by a round of PI. So, to get admissions, one has to be smart enough because, be it entrances or the interviews, nothing comes for free as the difficulty level of entrance and interviews is relatively high.
Royal Global University courses are plenty as one can be spoilt for choices if there aren't sure because even under the course, there are many specializations. Take, for example, the Royal School of Commerce. It doesn't just a B. Com general or an M. Com general. The university offers as many as three specializations under it, and they are B. Com. (H), B. Com. (H)- Entrepreneurs, and B. Com - Finance & Accounts with ICA.
Royal Global University application forms are available online, or one can go to the campus and take admission forms and prospectus from there. Filling the form online is one way, while there are quite a few centres where the downloaded form can be filled and submitted along with the supporting documents.
The university offers various scholarships ranging from 25 to 100%. For UG programs in any discipline, students getting 96% or more in 12th gets 100% scholarships on the annual fee. 50% scholarships to students getting 92% or more in 12th. 25% scholarships are awarded to students who get above 86% or more in 12th. For PG programs, students get 100% scholarships if they have secured 88% or more in graduation. 50% scholarships to students who have secured 84% or more as aggregate and 25% annual fee waiver to the students who have scored 80% or more in their graduation.
The above criteria are not the only thing as the students have to have 60% or more in the entrance if their course has a mandatory entrance. GD & PI are conducted for most university courses so students have to clear them as well to be eligible for scholarships. Finally, some scholarships are on a merit basis where the top 5 students of any course get 25% to 50% scholarships on not just annual fees but all the other fees that are applicable for the course.

Royal Global University has set up a cell called RCCR (Royal Centre for Corporate Relations). Through this cell, the university tries as hard as possible to secure the university student's future through the campus itself. The cell gives proper training on employment seeking so that they are ready to roar when thrown under the ring. The centre doesn't just groom students in terms of aptitude and attitude but ethically too. The university has tied up with over 500 companies of almost all domains to make sure that students don't have to go to a non-core company. In construction, the RGU has tie-ups with top Indian companies like Exotic Greens, Taj Cement, L&T, Protrch Group of Companies, and Topcern Cements. In the field of IT, the university has tie-ups with Bosch, Tanya Software Solutions, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, and Tanaya Software Solutions, among many others. In the PSU sector, the university has tie-ups with the Indian Army and ONGC. RGU has placed students in numbers, which are only expected to grow as RCCR has been working day in and day out to get maximum students placed.
The Royal Global University Guwahati buildings aren't enough to amaze them. There are facilities which has and will amaze every individual who enters the campus. The front lawn that is right next to the gate has become a student's paradise to relax and have some me time. The hostel buildings of both boy's and girl's hostels are built so that students can never feel alone or miss their home even by the slightest of margins. The open-air theatre with the Peacock painted wall is the highlight of the campus. The visitor's lounge is as good as the lounges of a 5-star hotel. Even the student lounge is no less and D'Royal Coloquim, the largest auditorium on campus. One thing about the RGU campus that stands as the biggest treasure for students is the cafés at the university. The cafes deserve a detailed discussion.
RGU's Café: There are five cafés at the RGU campus, and all are unique from each other. The RGU cafeteria, which is the smallest of them all, is the most beloved café of the university. Northeast and Momo's go hand in hand, and there's no better place than the F5 café on the campus. There's no better place for the dose of coffee and some Italian food than the Wood's Café of the RGU. To have a proper meal, the D Dhaba is a delight if your taste buds are craving to have some Mughlai or the other North Indian dishes of its class. Lastly, to enjoy the food with some good music, one can have that at the Bistro café on the campus.
