IIRM is a joint initiative of the Government of Telangana and IRDAI. It is approved by AICTE. IIRM has a Placement Office which acts as an intermediary between the industry and the institute. The Placement Office helps in enhancing the employability skills, and organises workshops / training based on the performance of the students. Placement Office initiates industry engagements such as paper presentations, corporate challenges so that students gain exposure related to industry.
Summer Internship Programme is around 3 months which acts as a basis for final placement. It helps the students to understand the culture of the organisation, industry approaches, along with insights on the ways to achieve targets at different assignments.
