College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Pantnagar

If you see Pantnagar from Google maps you will see it is in semicircle shape and our college lies very near to middle of that. Behind our colleges there are many hostels placed in a line. Our college students all seniors and juniors resides in one Hostel. The hostel quality for boys hostel is good not very nice, as the building is very old but has been renovated recently. Sweeping facilities are regular in the morning. Each morning a sweeper will do brooming in the corridor. The food quality is nice, sometimes very good and sometimes average. There are always 2-3 guards on the gate and hostel manager at office or sometimes you will see hostel warden too.Read Full Review

Seniors and juniors get different hostels. Hostel accommodation is done batch-wise, that is you’re most likely to share your room with one of your classmates, which is a good thing, I guess. If there are single rooms available, you might get those, but more likely you will get a room with someone. The hostel building is old but got renovated. Food is served by the mess in the hostel itself. Food timings are good, you get your breakfast at 7 in the morning, Lunch at 2 and Dinner at 8 in the evening. You get snacks at 5 in the evening which generally includes tea, biscuits, and poha sometimes.Read Full Review
