This course is academically very vast which is rich with both theory and practical. Patience and consistency is a key factor to be on top of this course. One can either get scholarship based on their NEET score. Students can get allotment with a very reasonable fees (applies to Karnataka students only) or can get a management seat by paying the full amount of fees which is still reasonable compared to other colleges.

Dentistry is the perfect course for a student who is interested in Science, Medicine, and Art. It gives proper understanding and learning about medicine. There course also has equal parts of Arts. The student should be good with handwork, as there are many manual lab practicals in the course. Hence, this was the major reason for me to choose dentistry. Students can take admission in different ways. There are management seats and self aided seats along with government seats. The admission process includes, referring your previous board results, along with personal and group discussions. It also has entrance exam which you are supposed to clear to get admitted to the institute. We have annual or final exam at the end of every academic year. It covers the entire topics of the year for syllabus. There are also 3 internal examinations conducted by the institute. Clearing at least two of the exams is necessary to get eligible for the annual exams. The institute prepares you well for the real life challenges with proper postings at each of the departments of the institute. This gives you a clear idea bout each department of dentistry.

The fee structure for Bachelor’s in Dentistry for management seats stretches upto 16 Lakh for the entire course duration. This covers only the tuition fee. The hostel fee, accommodation, dental supplements, and examination fee are to be paid separately. The tuition fee for private or management seat is 16 Lakh. It is paid as 4 Lakh per year for 4 consecutive years. The internship period is free of cost. The fees for ST/SC classes are reduced. It has a reduced fee scheme.
