Indian Institute of Information Technology Una was established in 2014. It is managed and funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India under Public Private Partnership. It was set up by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, HP Transmission Corporation Limited, HP Power Corporation Limited, Govt. of India, and the Ministry of Education.
Vision: To achieve academic excellence and develop a multicultural and vibrant learning environment for students with value based principles so that they contribute responsibly and effectively towards betterment of society.

IIIT Una offers Under Graduation in B.Tech programs with specialisation in Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, and Post Graduation in M.Tech programs to students. Admissions in B.Tech programs are granted through DASA program and CSAB / JoSAA and admission in M.Tech programs are through CCMT Portal.
