This four years full-time course comprises of three years of academic study and one year of paid internship. Resembling MBBS, the course has its line in the medical field comprising a bachelor degree. Dental Council of India regulates the BDS course in India.
For admissions, candidates are required to own HSC degree/ PDC examination or any equivalent examination with Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Botany, Zoology with 50% marks in aggregate.
