Haldia Law College was founded in the year 2002 with a vision of providing quality legal education. It is an institution of the Indian Centre for Advancement of Research and Education (ICARE). The college is affiliated with Vidyasagar University, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The college is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers B.A.LL.B and LL.B programs at the UG level. Students can also pursue an LL.M program offered at the PG level.
