South Calcutta Law College has established a placement cell that provides career guidance to the students. It conducts several guest lectures and competitions to make the learning process more engaging for the students. In addition to this, the cell also organises placement assistance for the students where different employment opportunities are offered to them. In addition to this, proper training and skill development programs are also provided to the students in order to make them ready to be employed.
Several facilities are provided to the students by South Calcutta Law College for making the teaching-learning more engaging. The campus has internet facilities for catering to the academic requirements of the students. Keeping in mind the importance of health, the college provides several health care facilities to the students. The College has spacious classrooms that have facilities like smart boards and audio systems. It has a spacious library with a rich collection of approx 10,000 books and 16 journals. Computer facilities and reading rooms are also available in the library which is accessible for the students as well as the faculty members. In addition to this, Wi-Fi facilities are also provided in the library. Moot Courts are available in the college as per the guidelines of Bar Council of India. The campus has a canteen that provides healthy and fresh snacks and meals to the students and faculty members at reasonable rates. It also has a fully automatic lift facility for specially-able students.
