Dhanvantri College of Nursing

Dhanvantri College of Nursing has a lush green campus in Pallakkapalayam, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The campus provides facilities to students that contributes to their all-round development.

• Classroom: Classrooms at the college are equipped with audio-visual equipment and lab facilities.
• Library: The library at the college has over 4,000 textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, etc. Students are provided access to e-resources including DVDs, audio videos and online journals. The library can accommodate 125 students and staff members at a time.
• Hostel: The campus provides accommodation to students in a safe and hygienic environment. The rooms feature attached washrooms and furniture that include a bed, chair, table, and almirah. Students living on campus can opt for accommodation with or without food. There is a separate mess where food is provided to students. Additional facilities include 24/7 security, power backup, indoor and outdoor games, counsellors and a hospital with resident doctors.
• Auditorium: The campus features an auditorium that can accommodate around 1000 participants. The space is well-furnished with advanced facilities for teaching where seminars, conferences, guest lectures, etc. can be conducted.
• Transport: Transport facility is provided for its staff and students. One of the salient features of the nursing program that sets it apart from other colleges is the training for emergency nursing in the ambulance.
• Computer lab: The computer lab is a place for learning where students can access resources online.
• Laboratories: The college has laboratories for nursing foundation, paediatric nursing, community health nursing, mental health nursing, medical surgical nursing, and more. Students are allowed to practice in the labs at the Dhanvantri Critical Care Center including the pathology lab, anatomy lab, biochemistry lab, etc.
• Recreational facilities: The campus includes courts where students can play cricket, football, basketball, throwball, volleyball, etc. Indoor games are present on the campus.
