To enhance professional skills of the students, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Nursing helps students in selecting the right clinical learning area. Various workshops, webinars, seminars, etc are arranged on different topics for making students employable.

Practical exposure is provided to the students in following organisations:

• Institute of Mental Health for Psychiatric
• Government Head Quarters Hospital which has 200 beds.

 Moreover, field visits are also organised by the college. To cater to the professional needs of the students, the college has a parent hospital.

Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Nursing is developed on 51590 square feet area which comprises world class facilities and provides internet facility. Classrooms are properly ventilated and provide latest teaching facilities like black boards, OHPs, public address system, and LCD projectors. Students are facilitated with below mentioned infrastructure facilities:

• Library: To provide resources for research, the campus has a library which has books, national & international journals, e-journals, etc. Reading area with a comfortable seating facility, photocopying facility, etc is provided to the students. E-library facility which follows an open access system.
• Laboratories: To provide practical learning to the students, each lab is equipped with modern facilities and equipments. Following are the labs available in the campus:

• Hostel: Accommodation facilities for male and female students of the college are available within the campus. Hostel rooms are equipped with essential facilities according to the requirements of the students. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options are available for the students. Hostels provide numerous facilities such as internet facility, 24/7 power supply, medical facility, medical lab, dining hall, fitness centre, study room, etc. Proper security arrangements are made by the college.
• Mess: A spacious mess which accommodates around 2000 students is available. Moreover, a modern kitchen, bakery, and ice-cream making unit is attached to the mess hall.
• Medical Facilities: Round the clock medical service is provided to the sick students in a clinic available at the campus. Moreover, the college transfers emergency cases to “Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital” which comprises more than 1000 beds.
• Seminar Hall: The College’s seminar hall is fully air-conditioned and equipped with latest technology equipments. This place has a seating capacity of around 250 students at a time.
• Auditorium: To arrange various events, a centralised fully air-conditioned auditorium which can accommodate about 2000 students is available.
