NIT Trichy Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

We have hostel facilities for all 4 year students. In total, we have 22 boys’ hostels and 8 girls’ hostels. Boys’ and girls’ hostels are situated at different locations. For first year, we get 1 room for 3 boys but we don't face as such problems as room is quite big and enough space is there for accommodation of 3 people. We get 3 beds, 3 table-chair pairs, and 3 cupboards initially from college. There is garden outside of every hostel where we can spend some evening time and Wi-Fi facilities all over the hostel area. In hostel 3 people in a room is there with Wi-Fi facility, I will not say that it is a free Wi-Fi because you have to pay hostel fee every semester. And the washrooms are not that good it’s general, there is chilled drinking water facility all the time.Read Full Review

We do have hostel facilities in our college. They are good enough for the survival of students but not worth our money I would say. We don't have proper washing machines, also our complaints regarding hostels takes time to be solved. We are not allowed to use air coolers and iron boxes though we have a hot weather.Read Full Review
