NIT Trichy Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Our college has great infrastructure facilities. We have separate buildings for classrooms of different year students. We have specific department buildings all over the campus for all departments’ labs and all. There is a big and beautiful building Orion where exams are conducted and also classes are conducted. There is a Logos building where classes for 1st years are conducted. We have golden Jubilee Hall for big functions and fests. Also there is a barn hall in which TDMS, DJs, and rest of the functions are organised.

Overall, it has been a great year throughout in this NIT Trichy campus as we have a lot to explore here. We have a campus of around 800 acres and most of them are covered with trees and greenery. There are nearly 1160 students who took admission this year in our college. We have clubs for almost everything out there; means if you are good at something just apply for its particular club. You will get every club here including aerospace, singing, dancing, coding, web designing, graphic designing, and so on. If we talk about fest, there are 3 main fests that are organised in our college and rest there are many small fests and celebrations keep on happening throughout the year. First is Festember which happens around October month, second is Pragyan which happens in February, it is our technical fest and said to be the 4th largest technical fest in India, and third fest is Nittfest which is the cultural fest of NIT Trichy. After all that, if you are a sports enthusiast then there are contingent teams for almost every sports you could be interested in and there is a specific fest also for this which is Sportsfete where you can show your sports skills and win exciting prizes for your department.Read Full Review

As an old NIT, you will find many old infrastructures. But many new buildings are their like ORION, OJAS etc. There are 2 academic building, in first year you will have classes in LOGOS the lecture hall complexes no ACs there but it's cool enough inside. There is a clock tower in the campus and it’s like a signature building for NIT.

The campus life is just awesome and one thing I will say that if you are from North India then you will learn speaking English very well. The beauty of the campus is really awesome. You will find peacocks roaming here and there inside the campus. 4 fests are generally celebrated here so you are going to enjoy too much.Read Full Review

There are separate buildings for each department except for our department which is combined with mechanical department. But they are in the process of providing separate building. Also our library turns out to be the best as it has a lot of book collections and the biggest lovely building. Also we do have an awesome computer lab which is open 24/7.

We have a lot of clubs and student run organisations in our college namely festember which is the cultural festival and pragyan which is our technical festival. We have cultural clubs and also technical clubs which provide experience for software domain students. Also we do have clubs for extracurricular activities like sports and games and gym.Read Full Review
