Admission Process:
The Government College of Nursing Trivandrum has several scholarship benefits for the students. The students can avail the scholarships provided by the State and Central Government. There are also Merit cum Means Scholarships for the minority community students. The scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from the economically weaker minority communities.
Other scholarship benefit offered at the institution is
Post matric Scholarship which is given to economically weaker students from minority communities, based on their higher secondary results. The student has to score above 50% in the 10+2 exam to apply for this scholarship. Last but not the least, the annual family income should exceed 2 lakhs per annum.
Central Sector Scholarships have a limit of Rs.1000 per month and maximum Rs.10000 per year for the first three years. For the next two years, Rs.2000 per month will be given. Applicants will be eligible if they are pursuing any regular course at undergraduate level from a recognised educational institution. The scholarship will be given if the family income is not more than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum.
