BML Munjal University

BML Munjal University was founded in 2014 by The Hero Group's founders, and Imperial College London serves as a mentor. By establishing a top-class teaching, learning, and research environment, BMU aims to change higher education in India. The university has its approval from UGC and also it’s a member of prestigious AIU. The BCI has approved the School of Law to provide legal education.

There are 4 schools on the campus to impart education. The School of engineering and technology, law, management, and lastly eco and commerce are integral parts of the university. It has BA (Hons) Economics, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BBA, BBA - MBA Integrated, B.Com (Hons), and B.Tech courses at UG level. The college has MBA with specialisation in Marketing, Business Analytics, and HR. The students can also go on to do an executive MBA which is conducted in partnership with Eruditus. There are 2 interesting programs namely women in leadership program of 9 months and deep delve short courses. The college also has a provision of Ph.D in engineering, law and management related segments.

Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, Warwick University, and UC Berkeley are just a few of the top international universities with which BMU has officially collaborated. The partnerships make sure that students receive the top-notch and globally relevant education possible. The Institute of Inclusive Innovation also known as I3 is a centre for applied research that was co-founded by the university and Imperial College. The institute's focus areas, including energy, education, urban and economic empowerment will be accessible for students to work on real-world projects.

BML Munjal University accepts online application on its portal only; students are asked to attach their docs, certificates and details and at last have to pay the application fee. The documents that are needed:

• Class X mark sheet
• Class XII mark sheet
• Graduation mark sheet if applicable
• Entrance score of different exams like CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ SAT/ JEE/ XAT/ CUET etc.
• Work experience if any, and certificates of extracurricular activities

Let’s have a look at the admission procedure and relevant criteria for different courses:

BA LLB (H)/ BBA LLB (H) Course: 10+2/equivalent from CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards, aggregate 60%. Andhra/ Telangana/ TN/ Kerala state board students should have 70% at 12^th to apply. For IB diploma and certificate students, 24 points are needed with 3 subjects at higher level. Students are needed to have a scorecard in one of the entrance tests from CLAT/ SAT/ CUET/ LSAT. He/She needs to appear in BMU SAT if results are not out or not available. Those students who have passed the initial stage will be asked to take part in a PI. Analytical abilities, creativity, and communication abilities will be inspected during the admission process.

B.Com (H)/ BBA/ BBA-MBA Integrated/ BA (H) Eco: Must have scored 60% aggregate in core subjects at 12^th, SAT/ CUET/ UGAT scores are also accepted. These scores are optional but they give benefit and add as a plus factor during admission.

B.Tech (CSE/ ME/ ECE): 12^th class from ICSE/ CBSE/ Other member boards of AIU, with 60% aggregate in PCBE/PCME.
Applicant must have completed at least 1 of the entrance test from these for B.Tech admission:

• JEE Mains with 60 percentile, OR he/she should have 50% in JEE mains plus 12^th with 70%
• SAT/ CUET
• Need to appear in BMU SAT, in case results are not announced or available

MBA: 50% in any stream at graduation level, to pursue MBA in Business Analytics, students need to have B.Tech/ B.Sc/ BCA/ MCA/ or any other degree with computer science. Applicants must have completed one test from CAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ or BMU MAT exam, short listed applicants will go on to appear for PI and a case discussion.

Ph.D courses: Minimum 3 years for full time, and 4 for part time candidates/applicants. Application evaluation and candidate short listing, a written exam (aptitude based and subject specific) along with an interview by the selection team is done. The selection committee's shortlisted candidates will be informed, and an official admissions offer will be made. Candidates are also asked to submit a research proposal and their interview will be based on this proposal only.

The eligibility criteria: A master degree with at least 55% or a minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale or equivalent in a relevant specialisation from a recognised institution, 5% relaxation might be allowed to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled applicants.

BML Munjal University supports young talented students and female applicants if they are underprivileged but academically brilliant. BMU has:

MBA Dean Scholarships: Individuals who perform exceptionally well on national-level exams are eligible for this. The Dean's Scholarships are awarded to applicants with scores of 250 or above on the NMAT or 90 percentile or higher on the CAT/ XAT. A scholarship covering 100% of the first year's tuition fees will be given to a maximum of two students and also a scholarship covering 75% will be given to another 2 students.

B.Tech Dean Scholarships: To identify young and brilliant talent, based on the scores in JEE Main, SAT, BMU SAT. The candidate should have at least 1300 points minimum at SAT level. 100% and 75% scholarships are given on the first year’s tuition fees under this scholarship.
Note: Dean Scholarship is given almost in each course based on the merit and how well a student scores on the national level entrance test.

Defence Ward’s Scholarship: To express gratitude and respect for our brave military people BMU gives 10% scholarship. It is only available to wards of serving and former military officers, as well as other ranks.

Ishan Uday Scholarship: It is offered by the university to North East region people as per the rules of UGC.

MHRD/ central and state govt scholarship: Central sector scholarship is available for college and university going students. Students can also go on to apply for different government based scholarships through an online portal.

Hero Moto Corp E2: The Hero Moto Corp offers scholarships for applicants with strong academic records. It is given in the second year and is based on applicant’s 1^st year marks.

Hero Moto Corp Hamari Pari: In order to promote female students in management and technical studies, Hero Moto offers financial aid to first year female students who are academically strong but underprivileged.

Sports: The University gladly awards scholarships to deserving candidates in acknowledgment of the young athletes' talent.

Reservation of seats: 25% seats are there for Haryana residents, out of which 10% are for Haryana’s SC/ST class. Seats are also reserved for J&K domicile students and those who are from NE region.

Education Loan: The banks will assist education loans up to some amount without collateral or security as per the RBI rules.

For Ph.D Students:

• A Fee waiver for all full-time applicants is there that will waive up to 80% of their tuition fees.
• All full-time Ph.D scholars will get this fellowship: they will get paid INR 40K (per month) for the first two years and INR 50K (per year) for the 3^rd and 4^th year.
