Entrance Examination
Candidates applying for Communication Design, Interior Architecture & Design, Interior Architecture & Design, and Fashion Design have to appear for IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT) in order to take admission. This is a Written Test that evaluates the logical thinking, visual ability, creative ability, and cultural awareness of the candidates. The test paper is the combination of Written Tasks, Multiple-Choice Questions, and Visual Tasks.
Candidates applying for UG and PG programs in Fashion Business Management need to appear for IIAD Management Aptitude Test (IMAT) to take admission. It is a Writing Test that is designed to evaluate creative thinking, language, and logical reasoning of candidates. It is a combination of MCQs and Writing Tasks. After completing this written test, candidates have to appear for the Personal Interview round.
Students of Indian Institute of Art and Design are provided with Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to students based on their qualifying marks in Entrance Examinations conducted by the institute. The details about the scholarships will be shared by the institute at the time of taking admission.
