Haridwar University Faculty Profile, Roorkee

If not faculties the education here has been dismal. I am saying so because facilities here are less. Also, the exposure that we get after the management trying their best is a little below par, and to cover all the dismal parts there are faculties of RCOE who have done tremendously well in covering up things. Practicals happen almost every alternate day. Even if someone needs the same practical sessions to go on for a while, the faculty has hardly denied it. If the faculty's primary role is teaching then I will have to count the number of roles that faculties of RCE has played. Teaching was primary, but alongside they were our mentors, guides, friends, and one whom we could bank on as and when required. For someone who does the difficult thing, or rather the most difficult things at the College level are always at the bottom when it comes to recognition. I won't do the same as my praises from them will come straight from my heart. To make classes funny, jokes were cracked in class, and many faculties took it upon themselves. If they saw that the mood in the class was not as per their expectations, they turned the class into 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. So, for the ones who didn't take care of the College but the students too, it's a salute from my side.Read Full Review

Faculties pushed us out of our comfort zones but seemed a little out of their depth in the final year. The faculties set-up and all is fantastic at RCOE and at RCOE there aren't many faculties, so the ratio of students to teachers can be less, but what mattered was their impact on us. This is the reason at the end they hardly had anything left in them but after taking us to the moon in the first three years, it was up to us to give them some rest as for two months we had to go through placement training program and then the placement scene, so in the final year, we hardly received any help from them but otherwise, their role in the College was at the pinnacle.Read Full Review
