Eligibility Criteria for the Top Courses
B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) - The B. Tech (CSE) program is a 4-year, fulltime, on-campus undergraduate course. An applicant for this course should have cleared Intermediate exam with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and also had Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Biology or Biotechnology as one of the subjects. The candidate must have scored at least 45% marks in all relevant subjects on a summative basis. At the same time, the applicant must have achieved a good score in the EET (engineering entrance exam) conducted by the university, COMED-K, CET or any other equivalent entrance exam.
MBA - Candidates need to have a BE/B. Tech certificate having scored at least 50% marks cumulatively in order to apply for the MBA course. Even graduate students of other streams with 50% in aggregate can apply for the MBA program. Moreover, the candidate needs to clear the REVA MAT or any other national-level management entrance exam like XAT, MAT, and CAT.
B.A. LLB - A student applying for the B.A. LLB program should secure a minimum 45% marks in higher secondary in all subjective on an aggregate basis (any stream). At the same time, the applicant needs to attain the prescribed cut-off score in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) or REVA CLAT.
MCA - In order to be eligible for the ‘Master of Computer Applications’ program, the student needs to be a graduate with at least 50% in aggregate. One of the major/optional subjects should have been computer science programming/computer application/business statistics/business mathematics or statistics. A student can also seek admission to the postgraduate program through ‘lateral entry’ mode. Candidates who possess a BCA or B. Sc (Computer Science/IT) degree certificate with at least 50% marks in aggregate qualify for direct entry to the 3rd semester.
B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) - A candidate applying for the B. Arch course should have cleared 10+2 exams, attaining at least 50% in aggregate with English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Alternatively, candidates who’ve completed a 10+3 diploma in architecture, interior design or civil or ‘international baccalaureate’ diploma (following completion of 10 years of schooling) are also eligible. Additionally, applicants need to clear the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) organized by COA.
M. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) - Any candidate with a B. E. /B. Tech or M. Sc. /MS/MCA in Information Science/Information Technology/Computer Science or Mathematics is eligible. The candidate must have attained nothing less than 50% in aggregate from a recognized university or institute.
