Unfortunately, I did engineering from JLU Bhopal and little did I know that JLU is best for mass media, journalism and Law. Their school of law has done exceptionally well in such a little time. The engineering campus is more of an isolated one as the university is operating from two campuses. I joined the college in 2014 and it was renamed a year before and therefore a lot of construction was going on for the first two years after I joined. The JLU School of Engineering was located at the Chandanpur Campus which was lesser than the Mungalia Chhap campus. The Chandanpur campus was bigger than the Mungalia Chhap campus but in terms of looks, that was better. Unfortunately, the university was still new when I had joined and there were just a handful of students like CSE for which universities like LPU had 2500 students, JLU had just 300. So, all in all infrastructure wise, the university is best but in terms of studies, it’s like any other private university.Read Full Review

JLU is a thing that has the best of reputations but in reality is nothing but a common place like others. The university glitters better than gold but as they say all that glitters is not gold. There are no eligibility criteria for JLU admission to any of its courses as one can take the admissions at will. I was not even sure which course to choose as after commerce the choice anyways is few. The counselor at the university urged me to take BBA as he said three sections are already full and one section is left. More than me it was my parents who were impressed and said, you take this course. They promised some of the most lucrative placements and all and I knew something fishy then and there itself. However, I was lost with the infrastructure because there are many private universities in Bhopal but no one even half of what Jagran University Bhopal offers in terms of infrastructure. Well, at least I enjoyed my campus life as I made friends with some ordinary students, I mean I was also one of those but we dreamt a little extra ordinary for ourselves and ended up achieving that.Read Full Review
