Jagran Lakecity University Faculty Profile

JLU’s faculty members are generous, friendly, and quite modest. They feel that communicating with both teachers and students will facilitate academic study. In our branch, there are about 15 to 20 faculty members. 80% to 90% of them are above 35 and have an average of 10+ years of experience. Since the majority of them are proficient programmers, learning to code is simple. Each and every lab assistant teaching is excellent. I agree that the students were low back then but still what I feel is that the number of faculties at JLU were much lower than the actual required faculties that should be there at any university. The faculties though were the best as they all were IIT passed out and were all Ph.D. degree holders. The faculties have set the pattern and they were happy with that route as they didn’t feel like changing that route even if it was required. If this is how engineering is taught then I am sorry but the university needs to rethink. By the time I left the infrastructure was ready and even the strength started increasing but till then most of us already lost faith in engineering.Read Full Review

My values don’t allow me to demean anyone but trust me those faculties were good for nothing. We live in an era where anything below PhD looks below par and here freshers graduate were hired as faculties. It was unrealistic and the best part was that some of them even propelled us to prepare of entrances and I was like, you should have done that before jumping into teaching jobs. Well, we have passed out and they I suspect are still continuing with their jobs and somebody from recent batch might curse the university as I am doing five years after leaving the university.Read Full Review
