SVPM's College of Pharmacy [SVPM], Pune was established in the year 1994 as a Private Educational Institution. SVPM Pune is approved by PCI and AICTE, and is affiliated with SPPU, Pune. SVPM's College of Pharmacy offers admission in the field of Pharmacy at UG/ PG level with scholarship benefits to deserving students. DR. R.B. JADHAV is the Principal & Professor.
SVPM College of Pharmacy was established in 1994, under Shivnagar Vidya Prasarak Mandal and it is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The college has been accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE & PCI.

The College provides UG and PG degree in pharmaceuticals, which include B.Pharm degree, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
The college allows admission into its courses to the students who fulfill minimum eligibility requirements. The students are notified about the admission schedule either through public notification in the newspaper or through the official website of DTE, Government of Maharashtra. Application for admission can be submitted by providing relevant information and attaching required documents. The college also provides an admission procedure for its remaining vacant seats, regarding which information can be obtained from its official website.
The college provides Government as well as Non-Government Scholarships for the students who are meritorious, belong from financially unstable background, or are physically disabled. A separate scholarship for female students is also provided by the college. Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of merit in qualifying examination and their performance in interviews conducted by the college.

SVPM College of Pharmacy has an independent Training and Placement Cell which is dedicated towards the training, placement and internship of the students studying at this institution. Shivnagar Vidya Prasarak Mandal was established in 1972 with the aim in mind to empower rural masses through educational transformation. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) was started in 1994 and postgraduate (M.Pharm) department were started in 2014. The main objective of the institute was to provide high quality education at an affordable cost. It is doing everything to modify rural youth power into knowledgeable resources. The Management values innovation, diversity in ideas, and in the community; academic integrity, freedom, and transparency.
The college changes its technology, courses on the basis of the changing needs of the modern education system. The Institute aims at evolving as an institute that personalizes in pharma education. This will improve the student's ability to perform in university and other competitive exams. It also provides them with a high quality of research facilities so that students are interested in doing research. The Institute aims at providing several industry-institute interactions for training, placements, collaborative research, and consultancy.
The Pharmaceutical College is having two courses namely B.Pharm and M.Pharm. For taking admission in B. Pharm a candidate must be an Indian National and passed higher secondary or its equivalent in science stream. The candidate has to give MHT, CET conducted by DET. For taking admission in M.Pharm candidates need to provide G-PAT score.
The Institute has a digital library which helps students in providing them with ample books and e-resources. The library has a seating capacity of 75 students with 12,500 books and 11,000 e-books (DEL-NET). It is equipped with journals, around 15 print journals, and 1000 e-journals, articles, thesis, dissertations, country wise access, etc. It has thesis journals for M.Pharm student and Project Report for B.Pharm student. The college library is integrated with 224 CD/DVD-ROMS Titles and CD/DVD-ROMS volumes too. The timing is from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. During exams, the time limit is exceeded by providing books during the nights i.e. from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm.
