Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Placements: Average & Highest Package 2023, Pantnagar

The placements here are fine. Generally, in our college students prefer to go for higher studies or government exams. However, people still sit and study for placements. I would say it doesn't happen you will see big companies every year but still pretty good companies do enter our college. The average pack last year was around 5 LPA, however, the highest package went to 18 LPA. Mostly students who sit for on-campus placements here, gets placed somewhere.Read Full Review

We have taken so many training workshops to increases our chances of placements. Our college invites teachers from outside to teach us external skills too. Recently we had coding championships, despite being on the agricultural branch, I participated. College of Technology, Pantnagar have a Training and Placement Cell working with dedication in accordance to World Bank project for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP). It provides student with many training programmes in varied niches and placement opportunities to their doors. Hero Motor Corps, Analytics Quotient, Adobe, Acquisition Group, Wipro Technologies are some of the good companies that visit this campus for placements.

The average percentage of students getting place ranges from 30-40 percent in every branch. Highest package went to 1.5 lakhs INR and the average was fifty thousand per month. Most of the students of my batch opted to prepare for government services and to pursue higher studies clearing GATE with good scores.
