    COT is no doubt among the best institutions
    I have joined the B.Tech course here in College of technology, Pantnagar. The university is quite popular for its B.Tech, veterinary and agricultural courses. I am glad I joined one of them. To join the B.Tech program here, one has to qualify JEE exam and then the admission is based on state counseling that is the UTU counseling. After the state counseling, the college has its own spot rounds for selection of students. Here are in total of 8 courses available under the B.Tech program.     Amazing college life here
    I am currently a student here. I am pursuing B.Tech in agriculture engineering. Our course is very much practical based, but because of covid-19, we are stuck in our home. Despite that, our online classes have really provided an amazing glimpse of the practical aspects of our subjects. Our counseling is strictly based on our JEE ranks. I had got biotech on the first round of counseling from which I switched to Agriculture in the spot round. I have heard that Pantnagar is famous for its agriculture studies, therefore, I switched to this. Our placements record shows the Agriculture branch usually gets among the highest package in the entire college in on-campus placements.Read Full Review

    A peaceful learning with a tinge of fun!
    I was a part of B.Tech programme in Civil Engineering for which counseling usually starts in July and through the past year trends, it is pretty much clear that the cutoff for core branches of Engineering (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering) is comparatively higher than other branches in this college. If you have a JEE (Mains) rank below one lakh, consider yourself in. I specifically chose Civil Engineering because I had an interest in learning this subject and also through some friends I have known that the faculty is quite up to the mark in this discipline and my college has never failed to live up to my expectations.

    The learned faculty always guide their students in better ways and are punctual and little strict regarding classes. They mould their students into responsible professionals and are ever ready to clear any doubts. This course is a basic requirement for youth seeking careers in the field of Civil Engineering and Construction and hence, I went for it. It helps in the better understanding of the subject and familiarizes with the nitty gritty of this branch of engineering. Practical and field expertise is imparted through laboratories, workshops and field internships and hence makes a person professionally smart.Read Full Review
