Central Institute of Technology is a Centrally Funded Institute which was established in 2006 with the objective to fulfill the aspirations of ethno linguistic group of Assam. It imparts vocational and technical training to produce manpower for economic development of the region. It is a ‘Deemed To Be University’ which is approved by UGC and AICTE.
