Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules, Mumbai

Hostel of Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics is also great. It has great infrastructure. The only thing is that it is not that easy to get a hostel as 4000 to 5000 aspirants apply to get a hostel from college but only around 700 of them are selected. Other than this, hostel facilities are also great. We get to make new friends at the hostels.Read Full Review

The college has a boy’s hostel just behind the main building of the college. Other than that government hostel also has a quota for Sydenham students and likewise the college has tie-ups with some girl’s hostel as well. The college for over the years has had students coming from other states and cities of Maharashtra and therefore a good hostel was and is still the need of the hour.Read Full Review

The college does have a boys hostel and that is reserved only for students coming from other states and outside Mumbai. The students had to provide bonafide certificate to get accommodation at the hostel. The boys were provided accommodation at the Government college hostel which was located right behind the college building. The girls were provided accommodations at Savitribai Phule Government Girls Hostel and Telang Memorial Hostel. Those who required hostel facility had to apply for that and after screening and interview the students were provided the hostel as they had limited capacity and the students applying were more.Read Full Review
