Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics B.Com Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Mumbai

In entire three years of my time with the college I have attended college 60 times including the exams. You can imagine how lenient the college is with the attendance. The faculty has improved in recent past but as they say one man take a horse to the river but even 20 men can’t make that horse drink water so what can the teachers do when students themselves have joined this college for fun. The crowd that is there at the college is also students from the lower class and I have no problem with that but bunking the classes for doing part-time jobs is what they are doing. Check the Delhi University for that matter if you don’t have grades and can’t attend college due to personal issues then you can opt for distance learning but here the regular students are doing the same then where will academics lead to.Read Full Review

The classrooms are still green and black, black boards but the college has not just stayed grounded but has made sure that college creates an environment where students can concentrate only on studies. Mumbai has a lot of things that can distract but the college didn’t just extend the college hours but also made sure load the students with study materials beyond syllabus so that we have to equal exercise after back home as well. What else can we expect as the college is known for the traditional way and yes it did feel like I am still in school just that I don’t have to wear a uniform.Read Full Review

Not just Sydenham but almost all the colleges of Mumbai University don't care on who attends the college and who bunks. Living in the suburbs, I hardly went to the college during monsoons. Sessions used to start from July but my session started after 15th August when the monsoon would ease out in Mumbai and the clear weather permitted me to travel easily. After attending some lectures and meeting some of my classmates, I realized that attending lecture will be of no help and most of joined coaching for some of the subjects.
