Established in the year 1999, Balaji Institute of Modern Management was the dream of Balasubramanian who turned it into a reality. With the help of Sri Balaji Society, he started building the educational institution. Earlier the institute was popular by the name Agrasen High School Campus at Yerwada located in Pune. Before applying for admission, a candidate is required to follow the admission procedure. Candidates applying for the PGDM course have to go through a Group Discussion, clear the Personal Interview, and Written Test of English.
Outlook magazine ranked the college as the 1st among all the top Private B-Schools of Maharashtra in the year 2018. Outlook also ranked it as the 2nd top Private B-Schools of India for ROI. Times of India ranked the college as the 3rd Top B-Schools of Pune in B-School Survey, 2018.
The Library of the institute has all the required facilities that complete it. With a collection of more than 80,000 books, there are reference books, textbooks, and books that relate to business & management. It has a subscription to 185 journals, magazines of national and international work, and a section with a subscription of 26 local and national newspapers. There is a well-equipped information sharing system for several national and international online databases such as NDL- National Digital Library, EBSCO Management Collection, and E-Book Business Collection. In hand, there are above 345 CDs that relate with subjects like IQ Test, Psychometric test, aptitude test, ET in Class Room, and CDs on Faculty Seminar Series.
The library has a reading room with comfortable seating arrangement and desk facilities. Students can work on their project sitting in the library and can do research work also.
