DIT provides Deutsche Bank Engineering Scholarships to female students in the first year engineering programs to motivate girls for technical education. Through this scholarship, girls get monetary assistance, internship support, placement assistance, etc. Only eligible students can avail this scholarship.

The Training and Placement Cell at DIT has been established for an overall personality development of students for their successful career. It conducts various training programs to improve their skills (employability skills, communication skills, soft skill, interview skill, etc.). It also conducts pre placement talks, guest lectures, group discussions, mock interview sessions, talks with industrial experts, etc.

The admission procedure admits students via MHT-CETentrance exams and on merit-basis. A minimum attendance of 75% in theory and 100% in practical & term work isnecessary to appear for exams. Every student must adhere to the rules and regulations sincerely, along with regular attendance in mid-terms, tests, etc.
In the world where everything from fitness bands to cars is moving towards technical advancement, how can the library leave behind? Therefore, DYPIET has a central autonomous library, which functions using ‘softlib’ software. With the aim of providing quality pedagogy, institute renders up-to-date books, journals associated with technical and non-technical fields.The library has a reference section, journal section, reading hall, stack room. It stocks all kinds of reference books, periodicals, encyclopedias, CDs, etc. Other facilities include photocopy facility, barcode easy issue, reference service, newspaper clippings, access to e-resources, NPTEL lectures, OPAC catalog through DELNET network.
