Dhenkanal Law College

Dhenkanal Law College is a premier law institution situated in the state of Odisha. The college was started in the year 1981 with an aim to provide standard legal education to the students and develop their intellect to contribute to the legal issues of the society.

Affiliated to Utkal University, the college has been approved by the Bar Council of India and is accredited by NAAC. This college is permanently recognised by the Government of Odisha.

The college offers a 3-year LL.B and a 2-year LL.M program to the undergraduate and postgraduate students based on their merit. To know about the eligibility criteria for these programs, refer to the table given below:

*For LL.B admission, the college provides a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks for the SC / ST students.

Admission Process

Admission into the UG & PG programs are done after the publication of graduation and LL.B results by Utkal University. This usually takes place in the month of June-July. The admission process is conducted in the offline mode. Further details are presented below:

• Students have to apply through the application form. It can be obtained from the college office after paying a requisite amount.
• Students must fill up the form with all valid details and attach necessary documents. They can either send the filled up application form via post or submit to the college in person.
• If selected, the college will send an intimation for admission through telephone / post / email.
• At the time of admission, candidates have to produce a set of original documents for the document verification round.
