This university offers multiple courses and runs various schools under its supervision like the School of Medical Sciences, School of Nursing, School of Applied Sciences, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Education, School of Design, etc. Apart from this, the institute also offers PhD courses to the students.
Students can take admission into this institute after fulfilling admissions eligibility criteria. For being a part of SVU, the candidates need to go through SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET) along with Merit cum Viva-Voce. Students applying for MBA course needs to appear in PI and GD, followed by SVUCET. Additionally, the candidates can appear in other National Level Entrance Tests such as MAT, GATE, CAT, XAT, GPAT, AIEEE, etc.
Students seeking admission in PhD should have excellent academic records, followed by an entrance test, and PI. Also, the candidate should have a degree in masters with a minimum of 55% marks (5% relaxation is given to Physically Challenged and SC/ST candidates).
