ICFAI University (also known as The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University), Gangtok established in 2004 is a Deemed University. ICFAI University Gangtok is approved by BCI, UGC, AIU, ACU and AICTE. Admission in ICFAI University Gangtok is offered in Management, Humanities and Science at UG/ PG/ Diploma/ Doctorate/ Certificate level with scholarship benefits to deserving students.
In 2004, the UGC-approved ICFAI University was established in Gangtok with the aim of offering innovative, world-class, and career-oriented UG and PG programs. The University is approved and accredited by AICTE, BCI, AIU, and ACU.

* Admissions in many courses are purely based on the Application Form of candidates but, in other programs, the campus or online interview might be a part of the selection process.
Students of the university can avail of the Entry Level Scholarship where they are required to fill up the Scholarship Form and deposit it to the Admission Office before the predetermined date announced by the authority. Under this scheme, students are provided a Merit Scholarship on the basis of their academic performance in previous qualifying exams. The Career Counselling and Placement Department of ICFAI University Gangtok looks after the placement and training activities on a regular basis.
