NIIT University has the Career Development Council and it engages in a range of career development initiatives in addition to helping students locate employment opportunities to close competency gaps. Summer Internships: Students' first official introduction to a professional environment is during summer internships. Normally, they last for between two and three months. Hostels: The campus of NIIT University (NU) offers students relaxing accommodations in a picturesque and stimulating environment. The dormitories are located so that each room offers students a gorgeous view of the mountains, nestled in the base of the Aravali mountain ranges. The residential dorms at NU provide a range of amenities to attract students to rest in the solitude of their rooms, or interact with their dorm mates and friends. On the campus, there are amenities like separate boys' and girls' hostels, beautifully renovated spaces, Girls' single rooms with a shared bathroom and boys' dormitory with a mix of single, double, and triple beds and public restrooms.
Sports: The sports fields offer plenty of opportunity to play games of football or cricket, and the dormitory areas are surrounded with tennis, badminton, and basketball facilities. For the benefit of the students' leisure activities, they even employ a permanent athletics instructor. Taking part in inter-college/ university as well as other regional events helps students develop their creativity and collaboration. Students can participate in their favourite sports in a more relaxed setting by competing in inter-house and inter-batch events. The indoor sports section is typically packed with all of these activities and more, including intense games of chess, carrom board, pool table, and table tennis. It is also famous for its adventure activities, which include zip lining, hiking and overnight camping.
Dining & Cafe: Veggie-focused meals are usual in the dining halls, though occasionally eggs are served. The multi-cuisine meals are selected by a Mess Committee made up of students and just a few faculty members. Meals that are not vegetarian are available for an extra fee. A tuck store, a Nestle Counter, and a cafeteria are also located on the campus for students to get coffee and sandwiches.
Counselling: From Monday to Friday during specific hours, Mitradwar has a trained counsellor who helps students find resolutions to their problems. Students who require specific counselling are also given access to a trained counsellor’s services.
Clubs: Students at the university have the opportunity to take part in a number of clubs. Students themselves plan and oversee the clubs. NU Saahas, an adventure club, Running Club, Yoga Club, Dance club, Arts club, Music club, Theatre club are the major clubs for students to engage on the campus. The other prominent clubs are the Photography club, Poetry club, Film club, Fashion club, Design club, Robotic club, Computer club, Gaming club, and Developer club.
