Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University

MDSU is situated on the Ajmer - Jaipur national highway, which is at a distance of 7 kms from Ajmer bus stand.  The facilities provided at the University are canteen, computer centre, NSS, sports, guest house, post office, bank and ATM, etc. as mentioned below:

• Library: Saraswati Bhawan is the Central library of the University which is spread over 5100 square meters and is fully computerised. It is equipped with 53000+ Books and Reference Books, 1200+ Reports, 4700+ Back Volumes, Periodicals, Journals, Conference Proceedings, Thesis, Dissertations, CDs, Databases, Newspapers, etc. It has a reading room, provides reference services, interlibrary loan, photocopying services, OPAC, etc.
• Auditorium: The auditorium of the University is known as Swaraj Sabhagar which can accommodate 200+ students. It is located in Brahaspati Bhawan and is annexed to the academic council hall and meeting rooms.
• Hostel: The University provides separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. The Gargi Girls Hostel can accommodate 75+ students and Nachiketa Boys Hostel can accommodate 35+ students. The University also has a separate hostel for working women which is known as Maitreyi Hostel. The boys’ hostel is equipped with a mess, common room, recreational facilities, etc.
• Health Centre: The Dhanvantari Arogya Bhawan is the health centre which provides health care facilities to the students. There are doctors, support staff, and seven bedded hospital with modern diagnostic and health care facilities.
